Sometimes the one asking for help is not the victim, but the one who loves them.
Domestic violence remains a hidden phenomenon: according to the 2025 ISTAT survey, 31.9% of Italian women between 16 and 75 years old have experienced at least one instance of physical or sexual violence during their lifetime (ISTAT data). In most cases, the violence occurs at home, and more than half of the victims with children report that minors witnessed it.
