Ohana Production’s mission: “To tell stories for a wide audience, but without forgetting the immense social responsibilities of the communicator’s craft.” Ohana is a new production company but with strong roots.
It was born with a heritage of €5M in already valued properties and a portfolio of new international ideas.

- End-to-end hybrid
We follow the project from start to finish with a single workflow. We plan scenes in advance, analyze real and digital locations, work on physical and virtual sets, integrate visual effects and AI in the same production process.

The use of AI follows clear rules. We respect consent, rights to data and images, and make the presence of artificially generated content clear.

What does "Ohana" really mean
Ohana is a Hawaiian word that means family. But not blood family — the family you choose. The one made of people who believe in the same things, who work together toward something bigger. For us it’s those who create, who work and who watch.
Ohana is the idea that no story exists without those who tell it, who produce it and who live it. We are all part of the same narrative.
What makes you different from other production companies?
The important thing is to have a point of view. Communicators should ask themselves the deep reason why they do what they do and feel responsible for the content they deliver to the audience.
We’re not different because we do things that others don’t do. We’re different because we believe in something. We have 30 years of experience in bringing Italian stories to the world, direct relationships with international broadcasters, expertise in AI and virtual production.
But what really distinguishes us is our compass: every project must be consistent with our values. If a story doesn’t unite, it’s not for us.
What is your goal in the coming years?
To become the reference point for those who want to tell stories that matter. Not the biggest, not the most famous — the most consistent and innovative. We want to build a catalog of projects that in 10 years someone will look at and say: “This is Ohana. You can recognize it.” We want every story produced to leave the world a little better than it found it.
Is it ambitious? Yes. Is it possible? We’re working on it every day.
